Friday • Aug 25th • Lake Como, Italy

Ciao! We can't wait to celebrate with you in Italy.

Each of you have made our lives and relationship special since we first met in 2014, and we can't wait to celebrate with you. We've been dreaming of a wedding on Lake Como since we first visited years ago, and we are so excited to finally make it happen.

Thursday, August 24 2023
Villa Geno, Como
Cocktail attire
5 - 8 pm

The day before the wedding we will be hosting a welcome event with food, drinks, and toasts.

Wedding & Reception

Friday, August 25 2023
Villa Pizzo, Cernobbio
Black tie encouraged
Ceremony to begin promptly at 4pm
Dinner & dancing to follow until 1:30am

Join us for our wedding ceremony on the lake followed by dinner, drinks and dancing late into the evening.

We highly recommend staying in the towns of Cernobbio (the town where our wedding venue is located) or Como (close to our venue and the largest town on the lake). Please note that Lake Como is quite large and can be difficult to navigate if you do not stay in this area of the lake. We will be arranging transportation to and from the welcome party and wedding from select locations in Cernobbio and Como.

We highly recommend booking as soon as possible as hotel options in Lake Como get booked up quickly for high season and prices will rise as we get closer to August 2023.

Milan's International Airport (MXP) is the closest airport to Lake Como. It's about 45 minutes to an hour away by car, or just over an hour by train.
If you are flying in from elsewhere in Europe, there is also a smaller domestic airport in Milan (Linate Airport) which is about an hour away by car. Other airport options include Florence (approx. 4 hours to Lake Como by car), or Rome (approx. 7 hours to Como by car).

We highly recommend renting a car as it is the easiest way to get to and navigate around Lake Como. For a list of car rental companies available at the Malpensa airport, you can visit

There is a train, the Malpensa Express, that is available to take from the Milan Malpensa airport into the town of Como. The train starts from both terminals and gets to Saronno train station in ~20 minutes, from which you can transfer to another train to Como Nord Lago station. There is not a train system that can be used to get around the Lake Como area.

Please note that taxis are very limited in Lake Como and ride sharing apps are not available. Taxis are available from the Milan airport to get into Lake Como for around €150 - €180.

There are a number of private chauffeur services that can be hired for transport to and from the Milan airport as well as to get around the Lake Como area. The price for a one way transfer from the Milan airport to Como is approximately €110 for a 4 passenger car. Most hotels also offer airport transfer services.

If you want to arrive in style, private water taxis are available in the Lake Como area and can be used to travel to the welcome event or the wedding ceremony, as both venues have private docks. Please be sure to ask how long the ride will take from your location to the venue ahead of time.

We know you will all be traveling far to celebrate with us, so the biggest gift you could give us is the honor of your company!

If you would like to get us a gift, you can find our registry here.

Will the events be outdoors?

Yes, all events will be outdoors, weather permitting. The weather in Lake Como in late August is typically between 60 - 80 degrees Fahrenheit, so please dress accordingly.

How should I dress?

Welcome Event: Cocktail attire. Men's attire might include a nice button down, casual blazer, or feel free to get creative with an elevated Italian party vibe. Women's attire might include cocktail dresses of any length, elevated sets, or similarly creative outfits. Think cool chic vibes.

Wedding & Reception: Black tie optional, but encouraged! Why not dress to impress while sipping cocktails in Italy, right? Men's attire includes tuxedos or suit and tie; women's attire includes long dresses and formal colorful cocktail attire. We want everyone to feel fabulous and bring some pizzazz! ✧✧

What is the best way to get to and from the venue?

For both the Welcome Event and the Wedding, we will be arranging shuttles that will stop at a few select hotels in Cernobbio and Como. We will contact attendees in advance of the events to share shuttle stops and timing. Please be aware there is no parking available at the venue, but alternatively you may arrange transport via private car or water taxi (please also note that water taxis will no longer be running after the wedding festivities end).

Are kids permitted at the wedding?

We love your kids, but our wedding and reception is an adults only event.

Do I need a passport or visa?

You do need a passport, but you do not need a visa. Some airlines may require your passport expiration date to be greater than 6 months from the trip, so make sure you check your expiration date well in advance of travel.

COVID protocols?

Italy currently does not have any testing requirements in order to enter the country.
